The World Schools Debating Championships (WSDC) is a truly global competition for high school debaters. It is held annually and involves more than 70 national teams. Teams from all over the world gather in a battle of minds, discussing a variety of different topics from international relations to economics and sport.
Promoting excellence, creativity and, crucially, critical thinking, WSDC is not only a competition but a forum for the best and the brightest of students.

Diversity & Inclusion
WSDC has a strong focus on inclusion of a diverse range of students, ideas and speaking styles. Crucially we believe that whatever the differences in our languages, accents and experiences of debating, the fundamentals of good debating remain the same.
Our aim is to promote international understanding and free speech through debating. WSDC community is dedicated to raising young people aware of global problems who can help in creating solutions.
